We are getting ready for a fun afternoon and evening, watching Super Bowl XLVI. As we have for the last few years, we're hosting our friends Allison, Bryon and Miles. Excitedly, we're also welcoming their newest addition: one-month-old Hazel. This is Lauren and Hazel's first Super Bowl, so the number of kiddos is up 67% from last year. Put another way, the number of baby girls is up 100%.
Our families exchanged a flurry of text messages this morning, locking in everyone's predictions. It seems like the Patriots are the heavy favorites around here, which is odd because the Smiths tend to like the Mannings. Tobin wrote down all the predictions and even created a "trophy" to give to the best prognosticator, as he explains in this video. As you'll note, he's an excellent hedger.
