Today is one of my favorite days of the year: Matt's first day of summer break. He fed the kids breakfast, let Ev ride his bike alongside him on his morning run and took the kids for most of the day so I could run a half-day's worth of errands. It is an exquisite privilege, the amount of time we'll have together over the next two months. I am so thankful as we look forward to another summer together.
