We are in a bit of a lull. Baseball season and school are finished. Thursday we hosted a joint birthday party for Lauren and Evan, which was super fun but also a considerable amount of work to prepare for. But yesterday felt like summer. We slept in, I met some friends at the pool, and we had pizza and cake leftover from the party for dinner. Today continues that theme, except we will stick even closer to home. I am grateful for these restful, restorative days before our next adventure: travels to Georgia and Louisiana.
